Afters Ice Cream launched in Orange County and turned the ice cream sandwich into a social-media phenomenon with its signature Milky Bun: a warm glazed donut sliced in half and filled to overflowing with a scoop of ice cream in flavors like Jasmine Milk Tea, Mint Chip, or the always-popular Cookie Monster. The donut adds a pillowy, lightly sweet contrast to the cold, dense ice cream, and the whole thing is meant to be eaten fast before it melts into something even better. Classic waffle cones and cups are also available for those who prefer the traditional route. The Anaheim Packing House location is bright and casual, making it a natural dessert stop after dinner in the food hall. The Jasmine Milk Tea inside a Milky Bun is the order.
