Found this place on a food blog before our trip. The wait was long but we passed the time exploring Chinatown. The burger was absolutely worth it. We don't have anything like this at home.

Au Cheval's double with the fried egg is exactly what it promises. The patties have proper sear and the dijonnaise cuts through the richness. Cortlandt Alley location is a vibe.
