Bassetts Ice Cream at Reading Terminal Market is America's oldest ice cream company, founded in 1861 and still family-owned. The shop crafts more than 40 flavors from Pennsylvania dairy, including classics like butter pecan and updated flavors like salted caramel pretzel and pomegranate blueberry chunk. As the first merchant to sign a lease at Reading Terminal Market in 1892, it remains one of Philadelphia's most iconic food destinations.
