Blue Door Smokehouse is a Central Texas-style BBQ restaurant founded in March 2013 by Lexington natives Jeff Newman and Jon Rigsby, established as the only authentic Texas BBQ joint in Lexington among a regional landscape of Memphis and Gulf Coast-style establishments. The restaurant has been featured on the Food Network and by America's Best Restaurants, and is known for brisket with a serious smoke bark, pulled pork, and smoked sausage served on butcher paper, smoking fresh meats every day since opening.
