Bombay House opened in Provo in 1993, making it Utah's first Indian restaurant, founded by Daniel Shanthakumar after he earned a hotel management degree from BYU-Hawaii. The restaurant has since become Utah's most award-winning ethnic dining destination, earning TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice recognition and a loyal following built over three decades. Signature dishes include the perennially top-selling chicken tikka masala and the Bollywood chicken, an original creation blending coconut milk, potatoes, and pineapple.
