Brooklyn Farmacy & Soda Fountain was founded in 2010 by siblings Peter Freeman and Gia Giasullo inside a lovingly restored 1920s apothecary at 513 Henry Street in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. The restaurant won the National Egg Cream Invitational and has become a multi-generational neighborhood institution known for its egg creams, classic sundaes, and original penny tile floors and tin ceilings preserved from the building's pharmacy days. It gained national attention when the Discovery Channel's Construction Intervention featured its renovation as their season finale.
