Open since 1998, Clay Pit is an Austin institution serving contemporary Northern Indian cuisine inside the historic Bertram Building, a limestone landmark dating to 1886 in downtown Austin. The restaurant has been named one of America's best Indian restaurants by Bon Appétit and holds a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence for its wine list.
