Community Q BBQ opened around 2009 in Decatur, Georgia, founded by pitmaster Dave Roberts alongside partners Jim Laber and Stuart Baesel, with a focus on fresh, locally sourced, and organic ingredients cooked daily. The restaurant is named for its communal tables and community-centered ethos, offering pulled pork, beef brisket, ribs, and a family-recipe mac and cheese alongside classic sides like Brunswick stew. Community Q has been inducted into the Georgia Barbecue Hall of Fame and consistently earns recognition as one of the Atlanta area's top barbecue destinations.
