Don Artemio

Don Artemio brings the celebrated cuisine of Saltillo, Coahuila to Fort Worth, founded by chef Juan Ramón Cárdenas and co-owner Adrián Burciaga, who opened this Texas outpost in March 2022 after shipping over 20,000 hand-laid terra-cotta bricks from Mexico. Named for Saltillo novelist Artemio de Valle-Arizpe, the restaurant earned a James Beard Award finalist nod for Best New Restaurant in 2023. Signature dishes center on cabrito and the wood-fired traditions of northeastern Mexican cuisine.
