Duke's La Jolla, opened in 2015 at 1216 Prospect Street in the village of La Jolla, is a Hawaiian-inspired seafood restaurant named in honor of Duke Kahanamoku — Olympic swimming champion and the father of modern surfing. Perched above La Jolla Cove with sweeping Pacific Ocean views, the menu highlights macadamia-crusted fish, seared furikake ahi, Tahitian octopus from the wood grill, and the iconic Hula Pie dessert. Executive Chef Anthony Sinsay emphasizes locally sourced, sustainable seafood and seasonal California ingredients.
