Eventide Oyster Co. opened in Portland, Maine's Old Port in 2012 and quickly became one of the most acclaimed seafood restaurants in the country, earning co-owners Andrew Taylor and Mike Wiley the 2017 James Beard Award for Best Chef: Northeast. The restaurant is renowned for its pristine Maine oysters and iconic Brown Butter Lobster Roll — warm lobster tossed in nutty brown butter served in a steamed bao bun — which Bon Appétit named among its Top 50 New Restaurants in 2013.
