Famous Dave's is one of America's largest BBQ chains, founded in 1994 by Dave Anderson — an Ojibwe-Choctaw pitmaster and Harvard-educated entrepreneur — who spent over 20 years perfecting his recipes before opening his first BBQ Shack in Hayward, Wisconsin.
