Guru Donuts began in a Boise garage in 2012 with underground "Donut Speakeasies" before growing into a downtown institution at 928 W Main Street, named by Food & Wine magazine as the best doughnut shop in Idaho. Every donut is made from scratch each morning using local eggs, Shepherd's Grain flour, and organically grown fruit, with inventive flavors like salted chocolate potato, hipsterberry, and pistachio crunch alongside 100% vegan yeast donuts and gluten-friendly Idaho potato rings.
