House of Wings

Founded in 2003 by Mussaddiq Muhammad, House of Wings has become a genuine Overtown institution with more than 60 house-made sauces spanning every flavor profile imaginable. The jerk wings are a perennial standout, marinated in fiery jerk seasoning, while the Barack Obama sauce, a closely guarded sweet blend, draws devoted regulars. Wings come grilled, dry-rubbed, or deep-fried. Over two decades, this Black-owned neighborhood spot has stayed true to its roots while earning citywide recognition.
