Hungry Howie's

Hungry Howie's is a Michigan-born pizza chain founded in Taylor in 1973 and the originator of Flavored Crust pizza, which it developed and launched nationally in 1985 with eight distinct crust seasonings including garlic herb, ranch, cajun, and asiago cheese. With over 550 franchise locations across the U.S., it ranks as the 11th largest pizza chain in the country and was named Chain of the Year by Pizza Today magazine in 2004. The brand added Detroit-style pizza to its menu in 2025 and has raised funds for the National Breast Cancer Foundation through its Love, Hope & Pizza campaign since 2009.
