
Ken's Artisan Pizza
Ken's Artisan Pizza opened in Portland in 2006, founded by Ken Forkish — a former tech executive who left his career to open Ken's Artisan Bakery in 2001 and translated his mastery of long-fermentation dough into a nationally acclaimed Neapolitan-inspired pizza program. The pizzeria was named Best Pizza in Oregon by Food & Wine Magazine and has ranked among the world's top pizzerias on the prestigious 50 Top Pizza list, including a ranking of 27th best in the world. Forkish, a James Beard Award-winning cookbook author, sold the restaurant to trusted employees in 2022, and the current team continues to earn Green Oven sustainability awards.
