Kodaiko Ramen & Bar is a downtown Sacramento ramen restaurant founded by Chef Billy Ngo, who also founded Kru Contemporary Japanese Cuisine and was a 2024 James Beard Award finalist for Best Chef in California. Located one block from Golden 1 Center, Kodaiko was built on Ngo's vision to bring authentic Japanese ramen to Sacramento, backed by his training at the California Culinary Academy and appearances on Chopped and Cutthroat Kitchen. Signature bowls include the inventive Blue Crab Ice Cube Ramen, classic Tonkotsu, Mushroom Paitan, and Tsukemen, served alongside craft cocktails and curated sake.
