KungFood Amerasia
KungFood Chu's AmerAsia is a Hunan, Szechuan, and Taiwanese restaurant founded on August 8, 2008, in Covington, Kentucky by father-son team Rich and Johnny Chu — Rich having immigrated from China to Taiwan as a child before moving to Cincinnati, where he honed his craft in American-style Chinese kitchens. The restaurant is a cornerstone of Covington's Madison Avenue dining scene, celebrated for its bold dumplings, Kung Fu movie décor, extensive craft beer list, and vibrant hand-painted murals including one inspired by Big Trouble in Little China. In 2025, KungFood AmerAsia received a Covington Authenti-CITY Award and is ranked among the top restaurants in the region on TripAdvisor.
