Manuel's Tavern
Established in 1956 by Manuel Maloof in the Poncey-Highland district, this neighborhood bar was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2020 and has long been a gathering spot for Atlanta's political community. The cheese nachos use a house-made jalapeño cheese dip with diced tomatoes, shredded lettuce, green onions, and optional proteins including BBQ pork and chicken. Thirty beers on tap complement the food.
