Mazunte Taqueria in Cincinnati's Madisonville neighborhood was founded by Josh Wamsley after he spent ten months immersed in Oaxacan street food culture, studying local markets and vendors before returning to Ohio to build a taqueria rooted in authentic Mexican technique. The restaurant serves street-style tacos, enchiladas, tostadas, and fresh-made salsas from a four-salsa bar, with a menu that is vegetarian-, vegan-, and gluten-free-friendly. Ranked among TripAdvisor's top quick-bite restaurants in Cincinnati, Mazunte has expanded to multiple Cincinnati locations and a Lexington, Kentucky outpost.
