Michigan & Trumbull is a Detroit-style pizza restaurant founded by Detroit natives Nate Peck and Kristen Calverley, who started the concept in Pittsburgh in December 2017 after craving the thick-crusted, crispy-edged rectangular pizza of their hometown and named it after the intersection that once held Tiger Stadium. After returning to Detroit in 2020 with support from a Motor City Match grant, the restaurant moved to 1331 Holden Street in 2023, serving inventive Detroit-style pies with toppings named after local streets while donating a portion of proceeds to community organizations.
