Milk Bar is a James Beard Award-winning bakery chain founded by chef Christina Tosi, who opened the first location in New York City in November 2008 as part of David Chang's Momofuku restaurant group. The Los Angeles outpost at 7150 Melrose Avenue on Fairfax is Milk Bar's largest location at 4,000 square feet and its first West Coast store, serving Tosi's famous Compost Cookie, Cereal Milk soft serve, Milk Bar Pie, and LA-exclusive items like elote cornbread alongside baking classes and an experimental dessert lab.
