Moe's Original BBQ

Moe's Original BBQ is a Southern barbecue chain founded in 2002 near Vail, Colorado by three University of Alabama alumni who built their first smoker from salvaged parts and opened in a double-wide trailer in Minturn. The recipes trace to pit master Moses Day, who taught co-founder Mike Fernandez the Alabama-style slow-smoking tradition at Indian Hills Country Club in Tuscaloosa in 1988. With over 60 locations nationwide, the chain is known for its pulled pork, brisket, and signature Alabama white sauce, and has been named a Top 10 BBQ Chain by USA Today.
