Founded in 1985 by Vietnamese refugees Le Thiep, a former Saigon journalist, and Binh Ngo, Pho 75 in Arlington, Virginia, was one of the first pho-only restaurants in the D.C. metro area and named in reference to the fall of Saigon in 1975. Now with eight locations across Virginia, Maryland, and Pennsylvania, it has been recognized by Northern Virginia Magazine as one of the region's Best Asian Restaurants and remains a landmark of Vietnamese-American culinary history.
