SUGARFISH by sushi nozawa was founded in 2008 in Marina Del Rey by legendary sushi chef Kazunori Nozawa and Jerry Greenberg, bringing Nozawa's traditional Edo-style sushi โ developed over decades at his iconic Studio City restaurant Sushi Nozawa โ to a wider audience. SUGARFISH expanded to New York City in 2016, generating hour-long waits, and now operates four NYC locations offering a set omakase-style menu with no California rolls or teriyaki.
