Sunset Texas Barbecue is a Central Texas-style barbecue restaurant located at 443 Cooke St in Honolulu's Kaka'ako neighborhood, rooted in Austin, Texas barbecue tradition and originally operating as a food truck before opening its brick-and-mortar location. The restaurant slow-smokes beef brisket and other meats for 12 to 14 hours using 100% traditional methods, serving nothing pre-sauced, and has been praised as the best brisket outside of Texas by visitors from Austin.
