Sweetwater Tavern

Sweetwater Tavern is a Detroit institution housed in one of the Motor City's oldest buildings at 400 E. Congress in the Bricktown neighborhood. Owner Jeff Cain purchased the tavern in May 1991, and it has since become renowned for award-winning chicken wings — marinated for 24 hours using meat sourced from Eastern Market — earning recognition from Hour Magazine, Metro Times, and MLive as among Michigan's best.
