The Baked Bear
The Baked Bear is a custom ice cream sandwich shop founded in 2013 by childhood friends Rob Robbins and Shane Stanger, who opened their first location at 4516 Mission Blvd in Pacific Beach, San Diego. Guests choose from over a dozen scratch-baked cookies and premium ice cream flavors to build their own sandwiches, which can be rolled in toppings or served warm. The concept drew lines from its opening day and has since expanded to locations across the country, earning coverage in Forbes, Eater, and Thrillist.
