
Tipo
Tipo is an Italian restaurant opened in January 2017 by chef Chris Gould and his wife Paige Gould at 182 Ocean Ave in Portland's Back Cove neighborhood, occupying the former Borealis Bread building which came equipped with a brick oven central to the concept. The Goulds previously earned James Beard Foundation recognition for their Old Port restaurant Central Provisions, and Tipo built on that reputation with Neapolitan-style wood-fired pizza, handmade pastas, and crudo.
