Tona Sushi & Grill

Tona Sushi Bar & Grill opened in March 2004 on Historic 25th Street in Ogden, Utah, founded by Tony Chen and his wife Tina Yu — the name blending their two first names. Chef Tony, a trained architect who fell in love with Japanese cuisine while working in San Francisco restaurants as a teenager, built a signature style that incorporates global ingredients like Thai chilies, jalapeños, and olive oil into Japanese dishes. The restaurant has won Best of State for Best Sushi and has been featured in the Boston Globe.
