Tora Japanese Restaurant

Tora Japanese Restaurant opened in 2017 in Boston's Chinatown at 20B Tyler St., established as Boston's first Kaisen Don specialty restaurant. The founders traveled Japan to develop their recipes and sourced fish directly from the Toyosu Market in Tokyo, offering sashimi bowls, poke bowls, and sushi with high-freshness ingredients received every other day. The small basement space quickly developed a loyal following and long waits during peak hours.
