Tram's Kitchen opened in 1997 in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville-Bloomfield neighborhood, founded by the Le family as one of the city's longest-running Vietnamese restaurants. The small, cash-only storefront at 4050 Penn Ave. is known for its 16 varieties of pho, spring rolls, banh mi, and lemongrass dishes, and has won Pittsburgh City Paper Best-Of awards for Best Spring Rolls (2010) and Best Southeast Asian (2009). The family-run restaurant has built a loyal multi-generational customer base over nearly three decades.
