Young Joni was an acclaimed wood-fired pizza and small plates restaurant opened in 2016 in Northeast Minneapolis by chef Ann Kim, who in 2019 became the first woman and person of color from Minneapolis to win the James Beard Award for Best Chef: Midwest. Named one of GQ's Best New Restaurants in America in 2017, the restaurant was also featured on Netflix's Chef's Table: Pizza in 2022 before closing in September 2025 after a lease dispute.
