Zak the Baker

Zak the Baker is an artisan kosher bakery founded by Zak Stern, who started the business in a friend's Miami garage in 2012 after apprenticing on organic farms in Sweden, France, and Israel. By 2014 Stern had opened a flagship location in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood, which grew to 7,000 square feet with a 125-seat cafe; the bakery has earned James Beard Miami finalist recognition and multiple Miami New Times Best Baker and Best Bakery awards.
