Bobwhite Counter is an Alphabet City counter-service restaurant in New York City's Lower East Side, founded by Virginia-born chef Keedick Coulter, who brings the seasonal, ingredient-driven spirit of Southern country cooking to scratch-made fried chicken sandwiches, buttermilk biscuits, and black-eyed peas. A survivor of Hurricane Sandy and a consistent winner of Best Fried Chicken recognition, Bobwhite has earned a TripAdvisor Travelers' Choice Award and is celebrated as an East Village institution.
