The Cherry Cricket is a Denver landmark dating back to 1945, when Mary Zimmerman opened a lunch counter and bar in the Cherry Creek neighborhood. After changing hands and names over the decades, the restaurant became renowned as one of the top burger destinations in the country, garnering national attention from the Food Network and Travel Channel's Man vs. Food. Today operated by Breckenridge-Wynkoop LLC, the Cricket offers build-your-own burgers with over 21 fresh toppings and has expanded to four Colorado locations while maintaining its original location on East 2nd Avenue.
