Steuben's Uptown opened in 2006 at 523 E. 17th Avenue in Denver's Uptown neighborhood, founded by Josh Wolkon as a regional American diner named after his great-uncles' legendary 1945 Boston restaurant and nightclub. The menu celebrates comfort food classics from across the country, including a New England lobster roll, a green chili cheeseburger, and Southern fried chicken. Steuben's has appeared on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and earned multiple Westword Best of Denver awards, including Best Green Chile Cheeseburger in 2023.
