Comfort Kitchen is a Black-, immigrant-, and woman-owned restaurant at 611 Columbia Rd in Dorchester, housed in a landmarked 1912 streetcar comfort station, celebrating the flavors of the African diaspora. Chef-owner Deitrick Rivers earned a James Beard Best New Restaurant nomination in 2024, a Boston Globe Restaurant of the Year honor in 2023, and a New York Times top-25 Boston restaurant ranking.
