Dynamo Donut & Coffee is San Francisco's original artisan donut shop, founded in 2008 by chef Sara Spearin, a veteran of fine-dining kitchens including Foreign Cinema and Postrio. Handmade in the Mission District six days a week using seasonal local ingredients, Dynamo's inventive flavors — from Maple Bacon Apple to Chocolate Chipotle — have been featured on Food Network's The Best Thing I Ever Ate and named among America's best donuts by multiple national publications.
