Federal Donuts is a beloved Philadelphia chain founded in 2011 by James Beard Award–winning chef Michael Solomonov and partners, blending Korean-style twice-fried chicken with artisan spiced-cake donuts and coffee — what the founders call 'the three comforts.' Signature offerings include Fancy donuts in creative daily flavors like Crispy Nutella and Blueberry Pancake, and twice-fried chicken with za'atar coconut curry or chili-garlic glazes.
