Guisados
'Born and Braised in Boyle Heights' since December 2010, Guisados is a Los Angeles institution built around slow-braised, homestyle Mexican stews served on fresh handmade corn tortillas — a style of taco long underrepresented in the city's food scene. Co-founders Armando De La Torre and Chef Ricardo Diaz expanded the concept from its original Boyle Heights location to nearly a dozen locations across greater Los Angeles, earning a listing in the Michelin Guide. The six-taco sampler is the ideal way to explore rotating daily specials like cochinita pibil and steak picado.
