Sonoratown

Sonoratown was founded in 2016 by Teodoro Diaz-Rodriguez Jr. and Jennifer Feltham in Downtown Los Angeles, specializing in Northern Mexican-style Sonoran tacos with carne asada cooked over mesquite wood and handmade flour tortillas. The taqueria, named after a historic Mexican immigrant neighborhood in LA, quickly drew city-wide acclaim and won the Los Angeles Taco Madness championship in 2021, leading to a second Mid-City location in 2022.
