HallPass, Utah's first food hall, opened in January 2020 inside a renovated 11,000-square-foot space at The Gateway in downtown Salt Lake City, housing multiple fast-casual dining concepts — including lobster rolls, Nashville hot chicken, steamed bao buns, and SkinnyFATS — under one roof with a single-tab payment system. The striking interior features hand-imported golden acacia wood furniture from Thailand, murals by local artist Donovan Fitzgerald, Edison lighting, and a fireplace, plus a 3,500-square-foot patio. A hidden speakeasy accessible by password and a full craft beer and cocktail bar round out the experience.
