Hihimanu Sushi is a reservation-only, 10-seat omakase restaurant in Kaimuki, Honolulu, led by Chef Ray Howard, who was raised in Okinawa and has spent over 20 years mastering traditional sushi across Hawaii. Chef Howard flies in fish directly from Japanese auctions and crafts all sauces, micro greens, and seasonings in-house for an 18-course dinner experience. Ranked Top 5 in North America for best omakase by Yelp in 2024 and #1 in Hawaii by OpenTable, Hihimanu is also featured in the book The Art of Sushi as one of the best in America.
