Hiyakawa is a Michelin Guide-recognized contemporary Japanese restaurant in Miami's Wynwood neighborhood, serving no more than 50 guests per night from a menu rooted in washoku traditions and the Japanese principle of kikubari — anticipating a guest's every need before they ask. Fish is sourced directly from Tokyo's Toyosu market, including rare varieties like barracuda and Japanese pompano, and multicourse omakase progressions change with the seasons. The minimalist space, lined with undulating backlit wood slats, is itself considered a work of art.
