HK Lounge Bistro is the celebrated comeback of restaurateur Annie Ho, whose original Hong Kong Lounge II in San Francisco's Richmond District was destroyed by fire in 2019 and reopened in SoMa in 2023 with many of the original chefs intact. The Michelin Guide-listed restaurant is renowned for handmade dim sum — including xiao long bao, siu mai, and baked pork buns — served alongside creative Cantonese dinner dishes like Peking duck and crisp-skinned roast pork. The tableside xiao long bao service, finished with vinegar and ginger, has become a signature ritual.
