KazuNori: The Original Hand Roll Bar
KazuNori: The Original Hand Roll Bar is a fast-casual sushi concept founded in Los Angeles in 2014 by Sushi Nozawa Group, named after legendary sushi chef Kazunori Nozawa, who is credited with introducing the cylindrical-style temaki hand roll to the United States when he opened Sushi Nozawa in 1978. The concept focuses exclusively on freshly rolled hand rolls made with fish sourced from Los Angeles fish markets, upholding Nozawa's exacting quality standards through a central preparation facility. KazuNori founded National Hand Roll Day, celebrated on July 6 — Chef Nozawa's birthday — to honor the tradition of the hand roll.
