Lighthouse Restaurant and Bar
Housed in a structure built in 1886 that has served as a bank, barber shop, post office, and bar since 1950, the Lighthouse sits near the Columbia River at the edge of Portland proper. The kitchen makes everything from scratch with no microwaved or boxed shortcuts, and the fresh-cut onion rings are a signature of that commitment. Willamette Week called it the closest thing to a rural Oregon bar still within city limits.
