Chef Ford Fry's fast-casual Mexican concept in River Oaks won the Houston Press Best Wings award for 2025, and the smoked chicken wings here earn that recognition: blackened from the wood fire, glazed in a fiery salsa macha with fried peanuts and chiles, and served with a housemade jalapeño ranch.
