Long Weekend opened on March 4, 2026, in Houston's Heights neighborhood, created by husband-and-wife owners Paige and Andrew Alvis around a 25-year family trail-ride tradition of wood-fire cooking and communal gathering. Executive Chef German Mosquera helms a custom-built wood-fired kitchen featuring a rotisserie, open hearth, and cherry-wood pizza oven, turning out cowboy-inspired dishes like an elk burger, rotisserie heritage chicken, and wagyu tomahawk steak. The 28,000-square-foot property includes a café, a kids' creative area, fire pits, and a Western-themed outdoor playground.
